Who We Are
Thanks for being here <333 I’m Bec, an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a deep love for supporting women to nourish their health in a way that feels balanced, gentle and sustainable; not restrictive or overwhelming.
My Journey
As a Dancer turned Dietitian, my relationship with food, and my body has shaped the way I practice today. For so many years I believed that being “healthy'“ meant controlling what I ate and pushing harder, which meant ignoring my inner wisdom and what my body was trying to tell me. Becoming a Dietitian has given me the knowledge, perspective and compassion I wish I had when I was younger, which now guides the care I offer others.
Why I do What I do
My hope with Balanced by Bec, is to show you that health doesn’t have to mean restricting yourself, following rigid rules, or missing out. Instead, it gets to look like finding balance and nourishing yourself in a way that supports your energy, your gut, your hormones, and your relationship with food, while still leaving space for flexibility, joy, and life!
